Welcome freshers (at last!). This is your JCR website and hopefully we will begin again to add more news and useful information to these pages so watch this space.

We are currently looking for editors for all sorts of sports and societies so if you are involved in a club in Oriel then please get in touch if you would like to help post event details, team successes or information on how to get involved.

Anyone who has anything they want to add or suggestions on what they'd like to see on these pages please e-mail me.

Friday 28th November 8pm University Church of St. Mary the Virgin

Oriel College Orchestra and Chapel Choir combine to perform music including:

*Rossini's THIEVING MAGPIE OVERTURE overture *Handel's ZADOK THE PRIEST *Movements from Rutter's MAGNIFICAT

Tickets are £3 (free for Oriel students) and refreshments will be served in the interval.

Oriel's termly musical bonanza is on Friday of 7th week, with music from Oriel Orchestra and Choir including:

• Zadok the Priest (Handel)
• Magnificat (Rutter)
• Overture from 'La Gazza Ladra' (The Thieving Magpie) (Rossini)
• Radetsky March (Johann Strauss Snr.)

Admission: £3 (free for current Oriel students) with refreshments to be served during the interval.
