Welcome to Oriel!

The Junior Common Room (or JCR) is the community of undergraduate students at Oriel College.

We have a smaller student population than the average Oxford college – about 90 to 100 in each cohort, and around 350 in total – which lends us a uniquely intimate and convivial atmosphere. This makes it easy to get to know lots of different people, and college spirit and camaraderie run deep.
